Internal Blister - Buy Iodine in Almond Oil, DMSO, Biotropina, Hyodine
INTERNAL BLISTER IODINE IN ALMOND OIL - At one time, there was a commercially available Iodine in Almond Oil product called Briodine and another one was named Hypodermin . Nowadays we have to trust in the compounding pharmacy industriy to obtain such an internal blister. The internal blister that we sell is a solution of almond oil and iodine. The strenght is 20 mg/ml. Iodine 2% in almond oil injection is an internal blister and has many uses including setting up a splint or to speed up the healing of high suspensories. This is a treatment handed used for many years.
DMSO in a 30% solution can be used as an internal blister aswell. The first 6-8 hours you will notice an increased swelling of the treated area. Increased bloodflow gives a heat development. This effect can be increased by mixing the DMSO with the horses own blood withdrawn from the jugular vein. A ratio 50% DMSO solution and 50% blood is suffinent.
BIOTROPINA is an immunostimulant but is fairly effective as a bacterological internal blister. It should be mixed with blood or saline in the ratio 1 part Biotropina to 9 parts blood or saline. The effect of treatment with biotropina is well known by scandinavian racehorse trainers and this "cure" is highly recommended for tough cases. Biotropina can be used to infiltrate the muscle mass around the stifle in the case with loose stifles. Use 1 cc of Biotropina per injection site with 5 injectionsites in total, starting a few inches above the point of the stifle and make an arc over the lateral side and above the stifle joint. |
