BAUME CAUSTIQUE GOMBAULT is a product that is appreciated and wellknown by racehorse trainers in Europe since many decades, due to the effective action of its components. The characteristics of croton oil are particularly effective and find optimum use in local applications on the articulations of race horses (fetlock, hock , patella, coronet, carpus) and on the tendons and ligaments aswell. Warning: sewere swelling and blistering of the treated area will be the result so dont use a blistering brush just apply gently with a piece of cotton wool.
BLESTRE LOTION 200ml is a counter irritant for topical use. Blestre is a lotion used in the treatment of shin soreness and tendon sprain in horses. Blestre is a milder blister than Baume Causticue but still fairly effective! Brush on lightly once or twice a week and to stimulate circulation in sore shins and tendon sprains. Apply Blestre lotion daily before excercise to callous unsound legs and joints.Blestre contains quicksilver as an active ingredient.
R-IODINE is a mild non-blistering counter-irritant and analgesic liniment for the treatment of soreness associated with muscle stiffness (particularly after exercise), tendons, and ligament sprains, bones, joints, including sore shins, and other conditions requiring warmth. The active ingredients, iodine and oil of wintergreen, increase the blood flow to the inflamed area and provide a 'warming' analgesic effect as well as promoting tissue repair. However if R-IODINE is mixed with 30% DMSO the penetrating effect will increase and you will have an effective "working blister" in your hands.
HARLTONS BLISTER 120 ml - Harltons Liquid Blister is a counter irritant with penetrating action for use in the blistering of horses legs. It contains a mix of effective ingredients including croton oil. Its an effective blister almost as strong as Baume Caustique. |
