Tranqualizers - Buy Acepromacine, Robaxin, Dormosedan, Rakelin, Ketamine
RAKELIN - NATURE VET Use rakelin whenever a prolonged period of calm sedation is desirable. Vicious or dangerously anxious horses treated with RWR Rakelin become relaxed, sociable and co-operative. RWR Rakelin should be used as an adjunct to the handling of such horses, and indeed because of its benign pharmacological effect its use should be considered in all horses, especially youngsters, undergoing periods of education, breaking in, etc., or where unfamiliar surroundings and unaccustomed stress produce anxiety.
ACEPROMAZINE INJECTION Acepromazine maleate is a phenothiazine derivative that is used as a neuroleptic agent in veterinary medicine. It is a commonly used tranquilizer for equine athletes. Phenothiazines decrease dopamine levels and depress some portions of the reticular activating system. Acepromazine is metabolized by the liver and excreted in the urine.
DORMOSEDAN is a nonnarcotic, synthetic (alpha-2 adrenoreceptor agonist) equine sedative/analgesic that contains the active ingredient detomidine hydrochloride. DORMOSEDAN can be used safely for a variety of minor surgical and diagnostic procedures. Produces nonnarcotic, reliable, dose-dependent sedation and analgesia.
DETOMO VET INJECTION Detomidine is a non-narcotic sedative, analgesic and muscle relaxant, with a rapid dose-dependent effect. Sedation may be expected within 1 - 5 minutes following intravenous injection and slightly longer following intramuscular administration. Full analgesic effect is expected 5 - 15 minutes after administration. A period of sedation is maintained for 0.5 - 6 hours, depending on the dose rate given.
KETAMIL A dissociative anaesthetic, for use singly or in combination with muscle relaxants or tranquillisers in horses. Contains: Ketamine. Rapid pharmacological action characterised by profound analgesia, mild cardiac stimulation, normal pharyngeal-laryngeal reflexes and mild respiratory depression. It produces cataleptic anaesthesia (dissociative anaesthesia).Once pentobarbital was the principal agent used for general anesthesia in small animals, but has been largely superceded by the inhalant anesthetic agents. It is still commonly used as an anesthetic in laboratory situations, for rodents and occasionally as a sedative agent in dogs and cats.
PENTOBARBITAL is considered to be a drug of choice in horses for treating intractable seizures secondary to convulsant agents (e.g., strychnine) or as a result of CNS toxins (e.g., tetanus). Pentobarbital has been used as a sedative and anesthetic agent in horses, cattle, swine, sheep and goats. Often the drug is given after a preanesthetic agent to reduce pentobarbital dosages and side effects.
ROBAXIN A centrally acting muscle relaxant related structurally to guaifenesin, methocarbamol occurs as a fine, white powder with a characteristic odor. In water, it has a solubility 25 mg/ml. The pH of commercial injection is approximately 4-5. Methocarbamol’s exact mechanism of causing skeletal muscle relaxation is unknown. It is thought to work centrally, perhaps by general depressant effects. It has no direct relaxant effects on striated muscle, nerve fibers, or the motor endplate. It will not directly relax contracted skeletal muscles. The drug has a secondary sedative effect.
VITAMIN B1 INJECTION - NATURE VET High doses of Thiamine are reported to help calm nervous equines. Thiamine (Vitamin B1) also plays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, and energy production for all cells.
VAM INJECTION provides replacement of essential vitamins, amino acids and minerals which are used up rapidly by the athletic animal. VAM is a supplementary source of all of the essential nutritional factors required in large amounts by performance animals. VAM is formulated for use as a routine training aid, and is commonly used to both treat & prevent vitamin & mineral deficiencies from dietary deficiencies, athletic stress, parasitism and illness. The daily requirements of all of these essential nutrients and co-factors are significantly higher for an animal athlete, due to the much higher rates of tissue formation and destruction which occur during training & racing. Contains: Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12), Glycine, Ferric ammonium citrate, L-Lysine HCl , Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), DL Methionine, Pyridoxine HCl, Vitamin B6, Inositol, Nicotinamide, Biotin, D Pantothenol, Choline bitartrate.
